Thumbs up for EditPlus

In the many years of web design and development I haven’t found a better HTML, CSS, etc, coding program for the PC. The inbuilt remote FTP features mean that I can work remotely on code without having to mess around re-uploading code after editing, which speeds up my work very much. EditPlus is a mere $35 for licensing, but if you want you can evaluate the software forever just by clicking the evaluate button on load.
The only fault I have found is that the remote FTP will sometimes give a timeout. I thought it was an issue with my servers to begin with but have since found that it is a common issue.
Have you tried Phpdesigner?
Thanks Martijn. I am testing PHP Designer out over the next 3 weeks trial to see how it is. I must say that the first impressions are very good. It seems like a more up-to-date version of EditPlus!

After further review I have to say it isn’t for me.
The inbuilt FTP is great but annoyingly doesn’t allow for remote on the fly editing. The interface is quite clunky and the code highlighting seems all a bit too much.
I see it could work for some but for now i’ll be sticking with EditPlus which does the job perfectly.
